2.  When we arrived at their school, polish students welcomed us with hugs and kisses. Then I met Julia’s family.

3.  We went to Częstochowa where we visited Jasna Gora monastery and learned about it’s history. We had also visited a castle. In the afternoon me, Antonia, George, Petros and Stefanos with our partners went for a walk in the city and then went at Maja’s house where we had a lot of fun!

4.  Around noon me and Julia’s family went to Ogrodzieniec castle with Petros, George and Monica’s family and after that we walked through a forest and climbed a hill. From there the view was absolutely incredible!!! In the afternoon we visited two more castles(Mirow,and Bobolice)with Antonia, George and Petros.

5.  We went to the polish school where we made a lot of new friends. The polish students presented us a play about a polish myth. In the afternoon we took the bus and went to the center of the city with Antonia, George and Petros(and with our partners-of course).

6.  We visited a silver mine where we learned a lot about of the life and the conditions in which used to work the miners many centuries ago. Then we went to a shopping mall where we had lunch and bought a lot of things.

7.  We visited the concentration camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau. It was a very shocking experience as in this place one million people died.

8.  We went to Andrenalina park were we had a lot of fun. After that we visited a castle and ate a delicious traditional dish made by the parents of the polish students. In the afternoon we visited Wieliczka(salt mine), Everything there was made by salt( a church too!!). I think that that day was my favorite one.

9.  We went to the beautiful city of Krakow where we visited a monastery. We had some free time there so we bought some souvenirs for our family. Then we went to another shopping mall where we spent the rest of the day.

10.  We had a trip at the mountains (Zakopane). As it was raining we spent most of our time sitting in a café.

11.  We had a lot of fun playing bowling with Julia’s and Monika’s family as well as with George and Petros. In the evening we went to a restaurant were we ate some traditional(polish) dishes.
