Quick Tips for Profile Pictures Make sure your profile head shots are… 1.Professional: professional clothing, background, pose 2.Not pixilated: show you can at least size an image correctly 3.Properly sized: do not crop your head to fit the frame 4.Properly lit: not too pale (flashed), sick (green), or hot (red) 5.Contain only you: no family photos, no buddy shots 6.No cartoon depictions: just your headshot

Connecting with People Once you have your professional profile set up, start connecting with people you know. Type their names into the search bar.

Connecting Continued Once the person’s name and picture appear below the search bar, click on it. This will take you to their professional profile.

Connecting Continued Fill out this information truthfully, and click Then, this will appear at the top of your next screen: Once this person accepts your invitation, you will now be “linked”.
