Labs & Workshops: Movement & Zoning Labs and workshops connecting to the experiment halls at level 100 shall support smooth movement of people and equipment, without thresholds, steps, ramps or lifts and the radiation zone must be the same zone designation as the instrument hall Layout of experimental halls, labs and workshops shall allow for one single radiological zoning (in all levels 090, 100, 110). Movements from any point in the experiment halls, labs and/or workshops to any other shall not require exiting this single zone. Access for persons/goods/waste/sewage will take place at well defined entry points. 6

Labs & Workshops: Zoning 7 Zoning to be developed more based on decisions from SSM (Swedish Radiation Authority) regarding Spallation Sources Layout of experimental halls, labs and workshops allows for one radiological zone levels. Movements from any point in the experiment halls, labs and/or workshops to any other does not require exiting this single zone. Access for persons/goods/waste/sewage will take place at well defined entry points.
