North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority NCSEAA, SEAA, or “The Authority” Affiliated with the UNC General Administration Nine member board of directors with seven members appointed by the governor and two serving ex officio State agency charged with administering financial aid programs for students –Currently responsible for 50 aid programs Partner in College Foundation of North Carolina

NCSEAA Promotes access to higher education Maintains sensitive and affirmative default prevention and aversion activities and operates aggressive student loan collection system Administrator of North Carolina’s National College Savings Plan Administers numerous scholarship, grant, and loan programs Outreach and training activities for FAAs, school counselors, and general public –CFNC.org For more information: –www.ncseaa.edu What does NCSEAA do? “We help North Carolina pay for college”

(CFI) Nonprofit corporation chartered in 1955 Purpose is to assist students in financing cost of higher education Nine member board of trustees appointed by the governor Central loan collector and servicer for North Carolina’s FFELP – (Federal Family Education Loan Program) Administers grant programs and college savings program on behalf of NCSEAA Provides technology services for CFNC.org and delivery of information to North Carolina students and families about paying for college
