Recent History to Today… Gestures of Institutional Support on Campus Spring 2009 Chancellor Birgeneau requests the launch of the Chancellor’s Task Force on Undocumented Members of the On-campus Community (now called the “Standing Committee”). Recommendations Report published in May 2011. http://diversity.berkeley.edu/undocumented_task_force http://diversity.berkeley.edu/undocumented_task_force Fall 2011 AB 540 Coalition of campus and community members launched. Coordinated by Multicultural Immigrant Student Program (MISP) Interns. Fall 2011 Undocumented Student Program (USP) launched. Now the program has 3 fulltime staff. Now offered every semester. Fall 2013 UC President Janet Napolitano meets with a group of undocumented students from each UC campus.
