7. We are still collecting phones for the Jack and Jill foundation

8. We collected 500 phones for the Jack and Jill foundation and got a free interactive whiteboard in return. We are now collecting for another whiteboard. Keep bringing them in please!

11. Second green flag We got our second green flag in 2007 We got this flag for saving energy We found many ways to make our school energy efficient

12. Third green flag Last year we got our third green flag We got this for cutting down on using water We also need to continue on the great job the school is doing with waste and energy

13. The recycling bin The recycling bin is between the senior yard and the car park It is for cardboard, cans, cartons, plastic bottles and paper

14. Ms. Holmes/Bn Uí Mhuirí will take old cartridges and phones. There are collection boxes throughout the school

15. We will keep you up to date Sarah Fitzgerald from An Taisce came in to do a survey on how we get to and from school. 23% Cycle 2% Bus 40% Car 35% Walk

16. For our 4 th green flag we are trying to make more kids and teachers walk, cycle and carpool to and from school. An Taisce are helping us on our way. We hope to launch our BoW WoW campaign in the Spring.

17. BoW means bike on Wednesday. WoW means walk on Wednesday. An Taisce have provided us with two bike shelters. Up to 60 people are cycling to school everyday.
