Service animals perform tasks the handler is not able to do for themselves or provide a specific service. You may ask, “what is this animal trained to do for you?” If the person refuses to answer, the animal can be excluded If the animal can sit, stay, lie down, come when called, etc. the dog is a pet, not a service animal and can be excluded Comfort animals are not service animals and can be excluded.
