Overview by 4 Phases 1.Identify current strengths & weaknesses of RE related to four foci (led by Expert Panel) 2.Address agenda for change identified by those findings (led by Task Groups) 3.Find best way to communicate findings of Phases One and Two in final report 4.Disseminate Report widely and celebrate!

Phase 1 Draft report goes to the …….. Steering Group (Oct 31 st ) and on to the Reference Group (REC EGM Nov 7 th) then on to Wider public consultation (Nov 12 th - Dec 3 rd ) REC Board (Dec 6 th ) Report finalised and approved Jan 2013

Phase 2 Brief for task groups agreed by Steering Group and fair/authoritative means of recruiting task group membership identified (28 th Nov) First 2 task groups undertake work (Feb – April 2013); work circulated for wider consultation Second 2 task groups undertake work (May – July 2013); work circulated for wider public consultation

Phases 3 & 4 Synthesise the reports from Phases 1 & 2 into a final document Publish the final report and organise a launch/launches at which we lobby policy makers and celebrate our collective achievement
