17 YG&T: looking forward Comprehensive, quality assured learning opportunities and resource/support catalogue for learners and educators Social network functionality for learners and educators Online peer support network for leading teachers Two-way communications with all registered learners and their schools Quality standards resource base City Challenge National Register Project

18 Outcomes and Benefits No school saying "we haven't got any G&T pupils" G&T firmly rooted in the classroom Complemented (but not replaced) by accessible opportunities beyond the classroom Funding in all schools/colleges - available to all G&T learners High quality opportunities for G&T learners More joined-up services from all partners, stakeholders and providers

19 Outcomes and Benefits One-stop communications portal and working in partnership with others (eg Universities, NACE, NAGC) Increase in motivation, aspiration, self-esteem, achievement Output evidence to show that effective provision for gifted and talented learners can have a positive impact upon standards across the whole school/college body Dissemination of effective practice clearly available and publicised, locally, regionally & nationally More resources invested in the learner
