Asturias An autonomous community uniprovincial of Spain. It is situated in the north of Spain. Their most important cities are: Oviedo and Gijón.

Oviedo Oviedo is a city and capital of the Principality of Asturias. Oviedo has 186,65 km². Oviedo has 225.000 people. The adjective of the people of Oviedo is ’’ ovetense ‘‘. In Oviedo, there are two rivers: Nalón and Nora. The symbols of oviedo are the shield, tha has the Cross of los Ángeles, and the flag, that is blue with the shield. Oviedo is a city with oceanic climate with mild winters and cool summers, and many rainfalls. From Gijón to Oviedo are 24 km, from Avilés to Oviedo are 22 km and from Langreo to Oviedo are 14 km. The most important monuments are: Santa María del Narranco, Convent of San Pelayo, theatre Campoamor, cathedral of Oviedo, museum of the Bellas Artes of Oviedo and palace of Camposagrado.
