5.  The Virtual Class Meeting  Class meets in Amphitheater on MTSU Island.  Introduction, class overview, short lecture  Group Breakout Sessions  Work on GoogleDocs and/or group activity (e.g. groups creating their own media boards)  Class reconvenes back at the Amphitheater on MTSU Island  Either have speakers from each group talk about the answers to their discussion questions, have general class discussion, or travel to another island to use other discussion tools

17. In 2010 began assigning research projects to be presented in Second Life. The goal is to simulate a virtual team project. Students are given Linden $ and they set up their own PowerPoint Presentation. Each member of the group has a chance to speak.
