Objectives Promote the new Working Hands Ministry to the St. Marks Parishioners – Create Momentum Create awareness of resources available to those who are Unemployed Under-Employed Returning to the workforce Create a network of Parishioners helping Parishioners The Buddy or Mentor System Start the development of skills needed in today’s competitive job market. Enroll people into future classes

Assumptions Program to be conducted on a Saturday from 1pm- 5pm Date TBD Facilitators will be members of the design committee and other volunteers Announcement of date would be 2-3 weeks in advance of event Program needs to have enough to gain attention & create desire to attend 75-150 attendees Diverse group to attend (employed, under-employed, unemployed) Diverse occupation levels from hourly to executive salary Future class descriptions and dates will be announced

Options for Kick-Off Event Option 1 – Program focused around developing the “Game Plan” and building awareness of future offerings and calendar Option 2 – Choice Program focused around development of four key skills 2A – Same as above but attendee only chooses 3 to attend Option 3 – Basics of four key skills and focus on Game Plan Development
