Second NIBRS Publication released in December 2013. Yearly publication Expands UCR crime data from a summary of eight crime categories to specific incident- level date from 23 offense categories. UNCLASSIFIED Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted (LEOKA) Assault Data In 1997, the LEOKA Program began the collection of detailed incident data for line-of- duty assaults on officers who were injured with a firearm, knife, or other cutting instrument.
