6 ©SHRM 2010 50/50 Raffle Today’s 50/50 raffle proceeds will benefit low- income job seekers and employees in our community, through the Bridges Out of Poverty Employee Resource Network by: >Providing funds for certificates that can be used at Goodwill, Clothes Mentor, or other similar stores, for interview and/or work appropriate clothing. Many low income job seekers lack appropriate clothing for an interview. And even if they get a job, keeping it can be difficult if they lack clothing that meets dress code requirements. >Providing funds for low income people who have passed the GED test, but cannot afford the $15 fee to obtain a copy of their GED diploma to use in applying for jobs.
