5  Uncharacteristic and unethical forms of dress and lead work or education into perverseness.

7  One of the major problems that teachers are confronted with is the way the students dress.  Students want to be in style and at times, the styles may become distracting.

8  Clothing is a demand which all are in need of.  The less fortunate struggle to keep up with trends in order to be socially recognized by society rather than discriminated.

11 FASHION LIMITS TIME

12  Fashion limits time, swallowing up some of the greatest moments we ought to cherish.  For example: -Helping our children with homework - Spending time with our families; praying, studying the bible and for recreation.

13 ADVICE  Instead of taking the majority of the time when your family is around to get dressed, enjoy time with them.

14 CHECK YOURSELF!!! COST OF FASHION

15  New shirt to buy, lovely dress but malnourished families: CHECK YOURSELF!!!!

16  Poor diets because of lack of money for food or poorly prepared meals can lead to destruction.  Your family can become affected with disease or worse, be led into intemperance.

17 CHILD SUFFERING FROM MALNUTRITION …………..

18 DRESS AND THE WORKPLACE …………..

19  Improper dress can result in one being turned down for a job.  The Result:  The family’s finance for budget will be limited.  The breadwinner is unable to supply the needs of his/her family  Due to the lack of money the family may be lead to stealinging and other forms of dishonesty.

20 FASHION AND THE CHURCH DEMORALIZATION OF THE CHURCH

21  Fashion is now beginning to rule the church  Instead of the focus being on the Holy Spirit, its now on fancy hairdo’s and patterned shirts.  Some church members mentality: I CAN DRESS BETTER THAN YOU

22  The church has become a parade ground.  The youth of the church spend the Sabbath engaging in demoralizing acts.

23 ADVICE  Elders teach the youth well, don’t think their minds are on church; during the services it is clothing and shoe stores, and many other perverse acts.

24  Teach the young: 1)Living simple is related to high thinking 2) There is much to learn and do 3)Youthful splendor is precious 4) Assist them in recognizing that the word of God contains many treasures

25 5 ) Direct them that they may see, every dollar they squander could have gone towards a hungry person’s meal, or even become a comfort to those in need. THEY CANNOT AFFORD TO MISS THE WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITIES IN LIFE!!!!

27  God wants us to dress appropriately, therefore we can show ourselves to become someone great and of purpose.  God urges us to dress this way because the way we dress reflects our character.  Proper dress and simplicity has its benefits, it will lead a young woman to be sacredly reserve and protect her from many dangers.

28  Not only teach the girls how to dress appropriately but also how to design and sew their own clothing.  When a girl learns to make her own clothing she should feel accomplished.

29 A good character surpasses any other beauty even that of human skill. Build a good character, cherish and love it!!!!!

30 Royal Robe Teach both the youth and the children to choose for themselves the royal robe of Righteousness.

31 The robe of Christ is freely offered to all who wants to wear it. A robe of spotless character.

32  Continue to make their surroundings that of a sweet melody from heaven so when they open their minds, they will be taught of love, loving and helpful deeds.  This is their garment and it will make them forever beautiful and beloved.  It will be their title of admission to the palace of the King.

35  What two (2) things will help to shield a young woman from a thousand perils?  What is the highest beauty in God’s sight?  How can children clothe themselves with God’s beautiful garment of character?
