Outcome of in-depth data analysis : Dress code and tardies were targeted early in the school year due to the high number of ODR’s for these behaviors A campaign to teach and re-teach expectations related to these behaviors were implemented including: posters of examples & non examples of dress code rules tickets awarded to students arriving on time to class (available to all students during scheduled school wide reward times school wide television production was used teach appropriate dress PBS event to reward all students with no dress-code in October Booster session held in February at the change of semester for teachers Additional incentives planned at end of the year in response to increased ODR’s in February at change of semester. In-Depth Data Analysis #3 Target: ESE Special Diploma Suspension Days 28% of ESE students are on special diploma track Same population is responsible for 46% of suspensions served by ESE students (Sept – Jan) Intervention to re-teach expectations Teach social skills (ART/PEACE4KIDS) Provide additional incentives using PBS tickets in special diploma classrooms Suspension for ESE special diploma students reduced to 23% of total ESE suspension days
