Reimbursement for Preparation for State-mandated exams California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) $125 maximum. PA 1 a pre-requisite California Subject Exams for Teachers (CSET) or Reading Instruction Competence Assessment (RICA) $150 maximum. PA 1 and PA 2 pre-requisites Submit form, original receipt and brochure or flyer
