2 List Poem As I open the door, I see: 35 desks with various markings, 1 desk with organized clutter, various candy wrappers on the floor, paper shavings of different sizes, broken pencils mixed in between, glares of sun coming through the blinds, and the reason I don’t want to stay: correcting.

5 Acrostic Poem P eople get frustrated when my E nd is dull and not pointy. N obody seems to C are that grinding me away I s actually L osing precious lead too!

6 Emotion Poem Name an emotion and tell its color. Then in four lines, tell how it tastes, smells, feels, and looks. Anger is red. It tastes like a bitter lemon. It smells like burning rubber. It feels like a flame on a match. It looks like a bonfire at night.

7 Shaped Verse Bounce, Bounce, bounce; Focus on the rim, Take a deep breath, Bend the knees, Follow through, Shoot.

9 Candy Wrapper Poem In addition to describing your favorite candy in “poem” form, include candy wrappers on the page for your graphic. Milk chocolate covers the gooey, carmely center. After a bite, the insides stretch l o n g and f a r like stars across the sky. Where did it get its name? It does not matter as the taste will put you out of this world. Milky Way

11 Headline Poem Create a poem by cutting out words from a newspaper The words should flow from one line another and make sense.
