Conceptual Definitions Distinguish stereotype, prejudice, discrimination from each other: Prejudice = Stereotype = Discrimination = – Affective, Behavioral, Cognitive components? – Groups can be ingroups (our own groups) or outgroups (groups other than our own)

Racism Distinction between overt & modern racism – Overt racism = explicit (name-calling) – Now, ‘modern racism’ is more likely Modern racism = implicit and subtle (exclusion) – Implicit vs. Explicit processing How can we measure each of these?
