2. Introduction The topic that I will be focusing on is child abuse. I decided to go with this topic because it is interesting and gives people an insight to a person's life. It also opens you up to learning new things and allowing others to be appreciative for not being a victim of child abuse. Child abuse can be defined in different ways such as physical, sexual, emotional/psychological, and neglect.

3. Method  Overt Observations on there behavior  Three interviews on each victim  Gaining access/making the person feel comfortable

Questions  Why are children subjected to child abuse?  Do all children grow up to be like there offender?  What precautions do they have to take to heal?  What went on in their minds as this went on?  How did it affect their relationships with others around them?  How are you able to cope with everyday life after going through child abuse at a young age?  Do you believe this will affect your identity as a person?

6. Deviance + Child Abuse  The relation between deviance and child abuse is the criminal act intended.  The victim accepts the deviant behavior from there offender because they are usually afraid.

Findings  Children that are abused have a difficult time growing up and accepting what happened.  Not all children grow up to be offenders  Something interesting that I found out was that when females are abused they are more likely to become pregnant at a young age.  Children blame themselves for what happened and they often have low self esteem.  They have difficulties opening up to talk to people about what they went through.

9. Further Research  I would interview people I don’t know who has been abused as a child  Try to interview an offender  Observe more patterns and behaviors
