Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is a term used to describe a range of disabilities and developmental problems that may arise from mothers drinking while they are pregnant.

It is now known that excess alcohol consumption in pregnancy can cause abnormalities in your baby. Some of the abnormalities associated with this syndrome are damage of the : Brain Spine and nerves Facial abnormalities and Abnormally low growth.
