Bovisand Facilities Charging panel Life jackets Boat engine oil Casemate – exped room Toilets, showers, tumble dryer Fuel – commercially available at Queen Anne’s Battery - or via jerry can and Asda! If available, 8-person, 4-stroke RIB – GPS/Echo sounder – VHF radio – Shot lines – Boat boxes – medical, pyros, tools

Need to Take 1….. Halton RIB – Boat boxes – 1 st aid, pyro, tools – GPS, echo sounder, radio – Shot lines, anchor, buoy – A flag, paddles – Engine oil – Spare wheel, jack, spider

Club Kit O2 kits (x2) SMBs Agency fuel cards one per vehicle – Colin/Pete Deco rig & spare cylinders. 7 x 15L (HAL), 8 x 12L (HWY) Charts, tide tables, site guides, dive logs– Angus Slate, incident sheets BSAC 88 tables – Pete GPS, handheld VHF Radio - Dave Personal Kit All usual kit including dive computers, log books, BSAC membership card, med certs Sea sickness tablets DSMB & reel, buddy line Torch (& spare) Pony cylinder Warm, water/wind proof clothing – hat, gloves, jacket Flask

Plan Boat prep – Wed 16 May – evening Wt check – Wed 16 May Depart HW / Halton – Thurs 17 May cease work; arrive 2200 ish. Beer in ‘Jago’s’ Launch Rib Fri 17 May 0800 Takeover kit / brief – Fri 17 May 0900 Clear / RTB – After 2 nd dive Mon pm Weather call? Thurs 17 May – 1300 Diving Springs +2, 3, 4 2(+) waves / day

Safety Stuff Brixham Coastguard - Ch 16 Longroom Port Authority - Ch 13/14 – Approval required inside harbour area Chamber location – Southern Diving Unit (SDU) – Devonport D’Yard – DDRC – Derrisford Hospital via Queen Anne’s Battery On Bovi quayside / RIB – drysuits zipped up / wetsuits on, or lifejacket to be worn Hazardous harbour steps & ladders – carry kit Cylinder charging – use goggles & ear defenders Weather forecast – JSSADC office or RAF St Mawgan Divers & submerged rocks in Bovi Harbour

Accommodation, Meals, Social HMS Drake Wardroom – Devonport – ~10 miles, 25-30 mins from Bovisand – Small Mess bill Breakfast & Dinner – Wardroom – Collar & tie for b’fast! (weekdays)! – Jacket & tie for dinner – Thurs night – ‘Relaxed dress’ – Fri dinner & all weekend Lunch – bag meals from Wardroom reception Plymouth Barbican – Good bars, beer, food – Bus or taxi Dive shops
