THE FUTURE The Shire of Dundas is in a good position to develop the Shire for the following reasons: The Shires direction and projects are clearly identified in the strategic and financial plans. The Shire has an asset management process taking into consideration whole of life and operating costs when making development decisions. The Council is focused on renewal and upgrade projects, not “pie in the sky” projects. The Shire has a stable workforce with an experienced management team. The Shire has no debt and substantial cash reserves. The Shire does not like to be bogged down with Red Tape The Shire is supportive of Industry and Mining
