2. ABOUT IRVING PENN Irving Penn was born in June 16,1917 at Plainfield, NJ He died October 7,2009 New York City, NY Education: Museum School of Industrial Art in 1934-1938. He moved to New york City after finishing school in 1938.

3. EARLY YEARS He purchased his first camera and toke photos of street scenes and windows displays. (1938) Became an art director for Saks Fifth Avenue.(1940) Penn’s first Vogue cover was published on October 1,1943.

5. Woman with Ross on Her Arm ( Lisa Fonssagrives-Penn) 1950 Penn and Fonssagrvies got married in 1950. They were together until her in death in 1992.
