19 ON TARGET Hot Topics Red Folders MISD RTI Plan Revisions Common Vocabulary to Consider Best Method of Contact eRTI Follow-ups Archiving eRTI Documents Archive Manager Example of eRTI Intervention Plan Screenshot Red Folders  All elementary red folders should be stored separately from the PRCs. Important information in the red folders should be summarized into eRTI Tier 2 or Tier 3 Discussion box. Program reports such as Istation, RenStar, SRI, Read 180, etc., may be scanned and uploaded to Archive Manager. Behavior Intervention Plans may also be scanned and uploaded into Archive Manager. If something is scanned into Archive Manager, just make a quick note in the discussion box in eRTI Tier 2 or Tier 3.  If a student’s PRC is in the Records Department and the student returns to the district, campuses will be contacted if the student’s PRC contains a red folder.  Important! By the end of the year, red folders should be reviewed by campus staff. If anything was accidently filed into the red folder that should be in the PRC, please file it back into the PRC.  Boxes of red folders can be sent to storage at the end of the year. MISD RTI Plan Revisions  Thank you to all campuses for your input! Revisions are being made to the district RTI plan. A revised plan will be presented by the next school year. Common Vocabulary to Consider  Universal Screener- RTI uses screeners and/or assessments that are not above and beyond what is already being given. RTI looks at these screeners or assessments in October, January, and April.  Intervention- Many materials, resources, and programs use the word intervention. We will begin to differentiate RTI Intervention and other interventions.

20 ON TARGET Hot Topics Red Folders MISD RTI Plan Revisions Common Vocabulary to Consider Best Method of Contact eRTI Follow-ups Archiving eRTI Documents Archive Manager Example of eRTI Intervention Plan Screenshot Common Vocabulary to Consider  Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3- There is Tier 1, 2, and 3 instruction and intervention. There is also eRTI Tier 1 (student profile), Tier 2 and Tier 3 actual intervention plan(s). Best Method of Contact  The best way to contact Jennifer Martinets is by email. eRTI Follow-ups  Once STAT has completed the process of developing an intervention plan, the Follow-up screens should be used. Refer to RTI Plan for step- by-step instructions. Archiving eRTI Documents  If all the Follow-ups have been used in a Tier and you need more space, please email the student’s ID# to Jennifer Martinets with a brief request to archive the file. During this transition year, we will archive eRTI documents for campuses. Archive Manager  When in Archive Manager, NEVER delete any documents. If any documents need to be deleted, email Jennifer Martinets.
