3 In Spanish The placement of object pronouns depends on whether a command is affirmative or negative

4 Affirmative With affirmative commands you attach object pronouns to the end of the verb. Ex: Julia, describe tu comunidad Julia, describe your community Julia, descríbela: “la” refers to communidad Julia, describe it.

5 Affirmative continued Give me the book Dáme el libro “Da” is the tú command for give (Dar) Me is the object pronoun for me. They become one word.

6 Works for both tú and other commands To tell more than one person to “listen to me” Use the Uds. Command for escuchar Escuchen Attach the object pronoun to the end of the verb: escúchenme
