Following new commercial opportunities created by the liberalisation of the Danish telecom sector, Powercom was established in 1998 to offer nationwide transmission services to ISP, ASP and telecom operators in Denmark.
History: Originally the idea emerged from utilising surplus transmission capacity, from the fiber optic cables installed by Powercom’s two owners. For monotoring purposes, the two power companies installed fiber optic cables along high voltage transmission lines. The cables held surplus capacity – which proved suitable to be utilised for commercial purposes. And that is – in short – the Powercom vision.
The Powercom business plan was executed by Powercoms current Management Team.

Began providing IT solutions and services in Kuwait & the region in under the name Kuwait Computer Company (Hasibat)
A 100%-owned subsidiary of Hasibat Holding Company
