2 Background The A*CENSUS (Archival Census and Education Needs Survey in the United States) was funded by the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS) 5,620 respondents (47.18% response rate) Results compiled by Vicki Walch, Principal Investigator

21 Conclusions Business archivists are similar to their colleagues in many ways In other ways they are different: salary level, reason for becoming an archivist, and ties to the profession Business archivists are dealing with electronic records. There should be a wider exchange of information about electronic records among various archival sectors.
