Foodservice and Hospitality Career Pathway ◦ Grade 9-Culinary Arts Wheel ◦ Grade 10-Intro and Advanced Culinary Arts ◦ Grade 11- Either Restaurant Level I or Baking & Pastry Arts ◦ Grade 12- Either Restaurant Level II or Decorating Arts ◦ Catering Production and Bakery Production are also elective choices

The high school is located in Citrus Heights, a suburb of Sacramento The school population has 700 students in grades 9-12 Two 100 percent affiliated chapters with a total of approximately 150 students and three instructors

Formal and committee meetings are held during class One set of official officers for each chapter with representation in each section Includes chapter business, a State Project Thrust presentation, and either a team building, or social/recreational activity

Qualify to compete in a CRE at the State Level OR Serve as a Region or State Officer OR Complete the Qualifications for a Golden State Degree Maintain a 2.5 GPA Attend the Fall Leadership Meeting Participate in 20 hours of catering and fundraising activities AND Actively participate in State Leadership Meeting Fundraising

Complete a minimum of four sequenced Culinary Arts Pathway courses Earn a Golden State Degree Participate in a minimum of 20 hours per year of catering and fundraising activities Compete in a Competitive Recognition Event (CRE) OR Serve as a Region or State Officer
