3. Hyde Park is the most prominent and famous London park. It opend to the public in1637. The park is famous for its Speaker's Corner. Another part of the park is Kensington Gardens where you can see Kensington Palace.

4. Kensington Gardens were created for William III, who lived at Kensington Palace. The palace is still used by the Royal family. You can visit part of it. Diana, Princess of Wales lived there. In Kensington Gardens there is a monument of Peter Pan and The Diana, Princess of Wales, Memorial Playground.

5. Every year millions of Londoners and tourists visit The Green Park, the smallest of the capital's 8 Royal Parks. The Green Park is a quiet place for people living, working or visiting central London, and is particularly popular for sunbathing and picnics in fine weather. It is also popular as a healthy. It is good place for runners.

6. St James's Park is the oldest of the capital's 8 Royal Parks. St James's Park has a large lake with an island in the middle. It is famous for the variety of ducks and geese and other birds which live on the lake. If you look across the lake, you can see the government offices of Whitehall in the distance.

7. Regent's Park is in northwest of London. It was originally a royal hunting forest. It was created by John Nash in the 1820. There were many beautiful houses, which you can still see today. Inside the park is boating lake where you can rent a boat and enjoy the beautifully flowers. The Park is also home to London Zoo.

8. Greenwich is the oldest enclosed Royal Park. On top of a hill, visitors enjoy views across the River Thames and central London. There are The old Royal Observatory, and near the National Maritime Museum.
