3  Philippians 1:7  Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

6  Stand fast in one spirit  Stand together, stand fast, or stand firm together in one spirit – No division  Strive together with one mind for the faith of the gospel  Labour together with one mind in the work of God – No compromise

7  The Christian life is a battleground.  The Gospel of the Bible is the gospel that we are to fight for and to contend for and defend today.  The teaching in the local church is to preserve the gospel of Christ, to preserve the faith that was once delivered unto the saints.

8  We will do the most damaging work to the enemy when we are united together in the gospel.  Certain people who are busy bodies and bitter, and won't talk to one another, and backbite hinder you standing fast with the rest of the believers with one spirit and one mind.

9  We win the battle for the gospel today is if we live godly to spread the gospel to those around us.  We lose the battle if we live ungodly to repel people from the gospel.

10  We have a godly life and a godly church.  A spiritual church is a church that allows God to speak spiritually to our hearts, and to display His own will to our hearts.
