Moss 001- 7 September 2000TINA Paris Conference Personal Feelings The idea to create the TINA initiative was right Looking at the conditions when the decision was taken But also considering the business evolution of the Telecom industry In a competitive environment a specific technology/product can emerge through a market selection process But… A really innovative architecture need to be the result of a cooperative effort among major players (see GSM, UMTS, MPEG family)
