Objectives I understand what Title I means for improving education at CGES. I understand our current status and future goals in Reading and Math proficiency. I can identify intentional and deliberate strategies that I can use to help reach our goals. I can provide input on the School Compact and Title I Parent Involvement funds.

Title I Title I is the largest federal education program. Title I is the cornerstone of the No Child Left Behind Act Title I is intended to help ensure that all children have the opportunity to obtain a high quality education and reach proficiency on state standards and tests.

Title I at Cedar Grove Cedar Grove has a schoolwide Title I program, which provides flexibility in using Title I funds, in conjunction with other funds in the school, to upgrade the operation of the entire school.

2013-14 Student Achievement Results Delayed The NC State Board of Education has extended the time to NOVEMBER 2013 for NCDPI to release scores for EOGs taken during the 2012-13 school year.

AMO REPORT (FORMERLY AYP) Cedar Grove met 17 out of 17 Annual Measureable Objectives (AMOs). In August 2012, Cedar Grove was recognized by the state as a Title I Reward School, designated for the highest performing 10% in North Carolina!
