4. Criteria to be met 1)Must get the maximum drainage for swell area. 2)Must meet product requirements and installation standards. Constraints 1)Can’t exceed budget of $200. 2) Trade offs (if any) to meet cost 3)No less than 6 inch grade from house. 4)Must be at least 16 inches underground to prevent crushing of product. 5)Make sure all utilities are not in digging area.

Choice of solutions I chose Design #2.Because they all cost the same,100 ft. roll of corrugated pipe cost $126,the gravel cost $50.This one will maximize the amount of water coming out of the swell. It will also keep the water from going to one ditch. I will also be able to use most of the material on this design.
