HOW TO ASSIGN AN AUTHORIZATION SUBSTITUTE

OPEN THE ROGUENET PROGRAM ‘AUTHORIZATION’. CLICK ON THE ‘UTILITIES’ TAB.

ON THE UTILITIES TAB SELECT ‘AUTHORIZER SETUP’.

SELECT THE TYPE OF FORM FROM THE DROP DOWN LIST FOR WHICH YOU ARE SETTING UP A SUBSTITUTE. EACH TYPE OF FORM (LEAVE REQUEST, PURCHASE ORDER, TRAVEL REQUEST) NEEDS TO BE DONE INDIVIDUALLY.

SELECT THE SUBSTITUTE FROM THE DROP DOWN LIST. THE SUBSTITUTE SHOULD BE THE PERSON THAT THE ORIGINAL AUTHORIZER HAS IDENTIFIED. IN THE CASE THAT NONE WAS IDENTIFIED, IT IS BEST TO USE THE NEXT HIGHER LEVEL OF MANAGEMENT. MAKE SURE THAT THE SUBSTITUTE YOU ARE SELECTING IS AVAILABLE TO AUTHORIZE DURING YOUR ABSENCE.

TO MAKE A SUBSTITUTE ACTIVE FOR A SPECIFIC TIME PERIOD, SELECT A START DATE AND AN END DATE. IF THE DESIRED TIME PERIOD IS OPEN (NO END DATE) LEAVE THESE BOXES BLANK.

CLICK THE ‘SUBSTITUTE ACTIVE’ BOX.

CLICK ‘OK’ WHEN YOU ARE DONE TO SAVE THE INFORMATION OR ‘CANCEL’ TO DISREGARD THE CHANGES. BY CLICKING ‘OK’ YOU WILL HAVE ESTABLISHED AN AUTHORIZATION SUBSTITUTE THAT WILL AUTOMATICALLY DEACTIVATE IF AN END DATE HAS BEEN SELECTED.
