In groups, using the heading on slides 4-6 produce a plan for upgrading Macromedia Dreamweaver v8 to Adobe Dreamweaver CS4.
Think about methods which can be used to protect data and back out of the installation.

Using the points on slides 4-6 as headings prepare an installation plan for upgrading a virus checker to a fully integrated security package on a HP 5700 machine,
Fully integrated security packages available are:
AVG Internet Security 2013

McAfee Internet Security 2013
Norton Internet Security 2013
Using the points on slides 4-6 as headings prepare a second installation plan for installing Apache Open Office v3.4 or Libre Office v4 on a HP 5700.
For the award of M3 and M4 you must include procedures to preserve data and back out of the software upgrades

P3 – Plan an installation and an upgrade.
M3 - Design and implement a procedure to preserve data
integrity during an upgrade.
M4 - Design a procedure to back out of software upgrades.
P3 requires you to plan an installation and an upgrade. Plan should include all the elements identified in the unit content and be realistic enough to be used by someone to perform the installation or upgrade if you are not available.
M3 and M4 require learners to produce procedures which should be robust and realistic.
M3 requires your plan to include a method of keeping the data already on the target hard drive integral,
M4 requires your plan to include a method to back out of the installation / upgrade process.
