18 Closing Thought… All change occurs in the place of not-knowing. We are capable of learning new ways only when we give up the old ways. The ego is the part that believes it knows. When we are able to put aside our egos and give up believing that we know, we make space for our wise inner knowledge to emerge in the space created by our not-knowing.” “The world is changing so rapidly that we must learn to hold ourselves in a place of ‘not-knowing,’ making a conscious choice to be flexible, open, curious, and inquiring, embracing that we do not and cannot know what the most effective action will be. ~ Kay Gilley, The Alchemy of Fear
