What on earth is a moodboard?

A mood board is a type of collage that may consist of images, text, and samples in a composition of choice. Designers and others use them to develop their design concepts and to communicate to other members of the design team.

jumpstarts the creative process (nothing more daunting than a blank canvas) helps us articulate our ideas to clients, faculty, and staff positions us as professionals allows us to explore and interpret (so we don’t fall into a pattern)
