Karachi Mass Transit Study conducted with the technical and financial assistance of World Bank in 1990, recommended 87 km Transit Network including Six Priority Corridors of high travel demand initially for bus ways convertible to Light Rail System The 6 Priority Corridors of high travel demand were approved and notified by Government of Pakistan in June 1995 KARACHI MASS TRANSIT CELL
