She wants many things. She throws things when offered to her. She moans during fever.

She wants her mother to carry her and walk in the room.

Understanding of the Case

What happens to her when she has fever? She can’t tolerate anybody coming near her or even touching her. She shrieks and kicks if anybody approaches her or even looks at her.

The perception of the child: as if being touched as if being hurt Her reaction is to: Kick back Yell Abuse Shriek

The patient is capricious till the time she finds relief. The typical symptom which the mother tells is that she is relieved only after being carried and moving in the room (carried, desires to be, very fast- KENT)

Carried: desires to be: relief, yet it gives no (Complete)

An infant wants the parent to carry him/her and walk very fast. They accomplish this by non stop crying.

This suggests Typhoid Miasm It is reflected in the intense struggle with the desire to be carried or to reach a position of total peace or recovery.

In elder children, the same state is reflected as crying, kicking and shrieking continuously. The perception of the child is that he will be injured if somebody approaches or touches him.

So she continues to shout, kick, shriek in an attempt to keep away the injury so that she can get peace. This struggle indicates Typhoid Miasm in elder children and also in the above case.

So combining the theme of the Compositae family with Typhoid Miasm indicates- Chamomilla which relieved the child.
