Character Studio combines two plug-in components, the Biped system & Physique modifier. Biped is the skeletal system for your characters skin to be supported and animated by Physique is a deformation modifier that skins or attaches your characters mesh to the links in the Biped skeleton. Free-form animation is created by animating bipedal body parts. By using the transform tools (move & rotate), with animate turned on, motion is achieved. Use the free-form animation method when the use of footsteps is not required (Biped diving a car, Biped flying thru air, Biped standing waving, etc) Free-form animation is created by animating bipedal body parts.
