Classification The Orange bellied parrot is a bird. An Orange bellied parrot is endangered. It is only found in Australia.

Description An orange bellied parrot is just bigger then a budgie. The male and female are slightly different.

Habitat It is found in low scrub lands and grassy areas. It breeds in Tasmania. They live in trees.

Life Cycle Orange bellied parrots nest in tree hollows. The female lays eggs 2 days a part. Sits on them for ten days. The babies leave the nest after 4 weeks.

Feeding Orange bellied parrots eat on the ground. It eats flowers, fruit, seeds and berries. It lives in coastal areas.
