Where Policy Meets Process If the Job Data and/or Benefit Flag have not been fixed then any other Job Data change will trigger another MSC event to appear on your report with the same issue. ICI Annual Category changes and Open Enrollment will drive the employee into the incorrect benefit program.

Where Policy Meets Process Issues: All events must be processed to close or voided. Do not leave the event open. Benefit Service Date determines ICI Early enrollment eligibility. Do not create ADM or SAV events effective after the employee’s termination

Process will remove all flag history and reset the flag to the lowest active EMPL RCD. Process must be run to pickup corrections to Job Data hire/rehire and terminations.

Where Policy Meets Process Always run Populate Eligibility Config when you change Job Data or Benefit Flag before processing events. Location: Benefits > Manage Automated Enrollment > Events > Populate Eligibility Config

Is the employee receiving another position? If correct, is employee going to be paid consistently and enough to cover deductions on the payroll or should they be setup in Benefits Billing?

It should reflect the WRS State service date on all active EMPL RCDs. If correct, be sure to process create a ADM event to change coverage on the correct effective date.

Where Policy Meets Process Effective Date should be: At time of hire override the default effective date for dependents to the employee date of hire. Current default is the event effective date. Where Policy Meets Process Verify Job Data and Benefit Flag is correctly setup Remember to run Populate Eligibility Config process on any changes to Job Data and Flag before processing events Reprocess the event back to “Assign Program” to pickup the changes made to Job Data and Benefit Flags
