BB Program Overview 3 rd -4 th Grade Basketball 3 rd -4 th Grade Basketball –Introduce students to the basics of basketball –Let players find out what it means to be part of a team (commitment, teamwork, strategy, etc.) –All players receive approximately the same playing time –Limit the schedule to one or two events a week (mostly just Saturdays)

BB Program Overview 7 th -8 th Grade Basketball 7 th -8 th Grade Basketball –Places a greater emphasis on competition and advancing skills. –Continue to have two practices and one game most weeks. –It is the goal still that all players will have a chance to play in each game, but playing time is at the discretion of the coaches. –Tournaments
