KZN Works Masakhe Women Summit Presentation 2010 2 Impact of Masakhe ECDP in Women development ProgrammeProgressWomen Participation Masakhe Registration Database. ± 5341 have been registered on the Masakhe database. Out of 5341 contractors registered 3341 (62%) are Women owned companies. Mentorship programme Eight (8) contractors were awarded mentorship pilot program at North Coast region. Out of the 8 contractors allocated 4 (50%) of them are Women owned. Accredited training. 48 contractors were selected to undergo construction management NQF2 accredited training conducted by accredited service provide this training is done in partnership with CIDB, however only 9 has drop out of the training. Out 48 contractors selected to undergo NQF2 training and 28 (48%) of them are Women Owned companies. Professional Service Provider Currently we have 389 Registered companies in PSP Database. Out of 389 Registered company of wish 70 (18%) companies are women Companies.

Out of one hundred and thirty four (132) were awarded a contract to be on FRPC and 108 (82%) contractors were youth owned contractors. 268 Contracts awarded and 189 (71%) awarded to women Capacity Building One thousand and fifty three (547) undergo Masakhe basic level one training during 2009/2010. 547 Trained and 388 (71%) of women owned contractors.
