CTE Snap Shots – PEIMS Recording and Procedures
PEIMS recording is done twice a year, Submission 1 in the Fall, and Submission 3 during the Spring. CTE coordinator will code students either a 0 or a 1 depending on CTE student enrollment. All middle CTE teacher rosters are pulled and currently enrolled students are coded individually. Because of the nature of middle school scheduling, submission 3 is done during the 5th six weeks to capture those students who were not enrolled during the fall submission snapshot date. For example, campuses that have students enrolled in CTE courses every other 6 weeks are captured during the 2nd six weeks, then again during the 5th six weeks. This allows for all students to be captured and coded accurately. Fatal reports are run periodically and a copy will be provided to all middle school assistant principals in charge of PEIMS. If you have any questions regarding coding, please contact the CTE Coordinator at
