28. Police Reserves and Auxiliary
GPD is augmented by a volunteer unit of sworn police officers known as Police Reserves & Auxiliary. This unit consists of regular citizens who are certified as Florida law enforcement officers, but may have taken a job in another field.
GPD currently has:

2 Auxiliary Officers
Of those – 2 are also Emergency Room Physicians!
