1 In This Issue A New Era Begins Extension Educator 4-H Youth Dev I started in the office on March 25 th 2014 and look forward to working with the great 4-H program here in Seneca County. I grew up in Fremont and spent 10 years in the 4-H program there. I have many fond memories of my years in 4-H and hope to inspire today’s members to create their own. My family lives in Liberty Center currently, which is 70 miles away. My apologies, if you have tried coming into the office to speak with me. I was probably travelling home to pick up my son from daycare. We hope to be moved closer to the area in another month. I have an open door policy and welcome suggestions and comments on how to make the best better. I want to improve the county website and start a social media page for the 4-H program. Please have patience this year as all of us in the office will be new to our positions. 2 County Office Associate Please welcome Erin Mancuso to the office. She started on April 22 nd. Erin is a ten year member of the Seneca County 4-H program and is excited to be working for the same county. She and her family live in Green Springs. Summer Assistant Brandon Wise will be back for another summer to help out all the “rookies” in the office and continue his work with the very busy 4-H season. He will be starting in Mid May. Thank you also to the Master Gardeners members who have volunteered their time in the office during our transition of office staff. Office Assistant The third member of our team is Debbie Gibson. She is joining us through the Experience Works job training program. Her primary responsibility will be inputting the members and volunteers into the new date base and helping with other office duties. Debbie started on April 2 nd. Junior Fair Coordinator Although she won’t be working in our office she will be an integral part to help the youth of Seneca County. Nicole Hoover is the new Jr. Fair Coordinator and started her position in March. I look forward to working with her, especially during the fair week. Ohio State University Extension
