Magnet Installation (Optional) 2. Apply firm but gentle pressure to the opposite side of the magnet until it drops below the hold down tab. 3. When viewed from the bottom of the pod, the magnet surfaces should be flush (or VERY close) to the bottom pod surface 1. Insert the magnet into one side of the magnet recess. Make sure the top edge of the magnet is below the hold down tab. NEXT STEPTopic Jump

S Can Motor Installation 2. Apply firm but gentle pressure to the top of the front side of the motor until it snaps into place. NOTE: First installation will feel tight. This is on purpose to prevent motor rotation. 3. When viewed from the side, the motor surfaces should be flush (or VERY close) to the bottom pod surface. Make sure the front of the motor is fully seated if you find the motor is not flush. 1. Insert the endbell side of the motor into the rear bulkhead as shown. Ensure to push the motor far enough toward the back of the pod to clear the front bulkhead. NEXT STEPTopic Jump

Slimline Motor Installation 2. Apply firm but gentle pressure to the top of the shaft side of the motor until it snaps into place. NOTE: First installation will feel tight. This is on purpose to prevent motor rotation. 3. When viewed from the side of the pod, the motor WILL BE AT AN ANGLE to the bottom pod surface. This is NORMAL. Make sure the shaft side of the motor is fully seated in the rear bulkhead. 1. Insert the endbell side of the motor into the front bulkhead as shown. Ensure to align the endbell cap into the hole on the bulkhead. Make sure the motor is rotated so that the tabs clear the bulkhead. Topic JumpNEXT STEP

Slimline Sidewinder Motor Installation 2. Apply firm but gentle pressure to the top of the shaft side of the motor until it snaps into place. NOTE: First installation will feel tight. This is on purpose to prevent motor rotation. 3. When viewed from the side of the pod, the motor should be parallel to the bottom pod surface. Make sure the shaft side of the motor is fully seated in the can side bulkhead. 1. Make sure to solder your motor wires BEFORE attempting to install. Feed the wires through the holes and insert the endbell side of the motor into the bulkhead as shown. Ensure to align the endbell cap into the hole on the bulkhead. It is important that the solder and tabs clear the bulkhead. Clean any excess solder that may prevent proper insertion. A large blob of solder could create abnormal forces and potentially break the bulkhead. Topic JumpNEXT STEP

Snap Bushing Installation 2. Align the bushings by installing the axle. Push the axle through one bushing and then to the next. If it doesn’t go in easily, simply wiggle the axle a bit until it goes through. 3. If the axle does not spin freely, remove the axle, then the bushings, and lightly sand or file the area indicated. Repeat steps 1-3 until the axle will easily drop through the bushings. A drop of super glue on each bushing should be adequate to hold the bushings permanently if desired. NOTE: DO NOT INSTALL BUSHINGS ON AXLE BEFORE INSTALLING INTO MOTOR POD!!! This can cause bushing misalignment and break the snap supports. NEXT STEP 1. Install snap bushings one at a time. Install each snap bushing by gently pressing it into place with your fingers. Topic Jump

Insert Bushing Installation 2. Align the bushings by installing the axle. Push the axle through one bushing and then to the next. If it doesn’t go in easily, simply wiggle the axle a bit until it goes through. NOTE: Sometimes it helps to leave a small gap between the bushing and the motor pod surface to allow some movement. 3. Once the axle is through both bushings and they are snug in their holders, set the pod on a flat surface such as a table top, and gently push down on both ends of the axle nearest the carrier. This should align the bushings so that the axle drops through them without hesitation. NEXT STEP 1. Install each insert bushing by gently pressing it into place with your fingers. Topic Jump

Insert Bushing Installation- Continued 5. Once the axle falls through both bushings easily, add a drop of superglue to each bushing where it meets the carrier. Once the glue has set, make sure the axle spins freely once installed. 6. Remove the axle and apply glue to the inside of the bushing holder area making sure not to get glue inside the bushing itself. 4. If the axle does not drop through both bushings simultaneously, simply wiggle each end of the axle slightly to better align the bushings. NEXT STEPTopic Jump
