Relevance – Prone carts can alleviate loss of mobility and independence associated with decreased sitting times. Not all persons with neurologic impairment can use traditional manual prone carts. Specialized motorized prone carts are not always available.

Veteran inquired about possibility of converting his Permobil C500 wheelchair into motorized prone cart, which was successfully accomplished 2 wk later by multidisciplinary team of SCI medical professionals.
